Hi! My name is Lea Schmidt and I've been competing and coaching CrossFit for over 13 years!

I was exactly where you are right now. I had the strength. I showed up to every class. But when Bar Muscle-Ups came up in a WOD, I always had to scaled. I tried the YouTube tutorials. I pieced together random drills. Frustratingly, nothing seemed to work.

What helped me is that I had access to coaches. Since then, I have competed at the CrossFit Games Semifinals 5 times in the individuals category, trained alongside the best athletes in the world, and coached hundreds of athletes through this exact movement.

And guess what the #1 thing I've learned throughout this entire journey is...?  👉  You don't need fancy grips, expensive 121 coaching sessions, or the perfect bar to be able to do unbroken bar muscle ups....
